Texas State University to Host 2024 Presidential Debate


The Commission on Presidential Debates selected Texas State University to host the first Presidential Debate on September 16, 2024, at the University Events Center on the San Marcos Campus. This makes TXST the first site in Texas to host a presidential debate. TXST has received national and international media coverage in more than 1,000 outlets from the announcement including:
