‌As we dive into the new academic year, you can feel the energy of students returning to our campuses. This year, that energy is stronger than ever as we welcome our largest freshman class and celebrate record-setting enrollment for the Fall 2024 semester.

I shared this good news and more during last week's State of TXST address for faculty and staff members. We talked about the progress we are making to enhance student success, grow our Round Rock Campus, strengthen our research enterprise, increase access to a TXST degree, and pursue academic and athletics excellence.

I am proud to say – thanks to the hard work and support of many – the state of TXST is energized, growing, and strong. We are working together to exceed the goals we set to move TXST forward and prepare for the next 125 years.

In this month’s Current videos, you will hear from Bobcats who work on the front line to make TXST’s hopes and aspirations a reality for our students and university.
